Kodiak Building Partners, a leading building materials distribution company, announced the promotion of Wade Gardner to area vice president (AVP) of Washington. In this expanded role, Gardner will help guide strategic growth across Kodiak’s Washington-based companies while continuing to serve as president of Builders Alliance and Frontier Building Supply.
Gardner’s promotion reflects Kodiak’s commitment to strong regional leadership that drives collaboration, improves alignment and fuels long-term growth—while preserving the entrepreneurial spirit of each local company.
“Wade’s steady leadership and deep commitment to his teams have made a real difference—not just at Builders Alliance and Frontier, but across the broader Washington market,” said Kelly Fox, senior vice president of 鶹ý Northwest at Kodiak. “This expanded role gives him the opportunity to bring people together, strengthen operations and help shape the future of our business in the Pacific Northwest. I’m confident he’ll continue to lead with the integrity, humility and focus that have earned him so much trust.”
With more than 20 years of industry experience—including leadership roles at Lumbermens, ProBuild, and Builders FirstSource—Gardner joined Builders Alliance in 2016 and took on the dual presidency of Builders Alliance and Frontier Building Supply in 2022. Under his leadership, both companies have achieved strong operational performance and cultural alignment, with a focus on customer service, team development and operational strength in a competitive market.
The announcement comes as Kodiak continues to invest in one of its fastest-growing regions and reinforces the company’s belief that strong, scalable local leadership drives sustained success.
