The 2024 EXPO brought together LMC Dealers and supplier partners from across the country for a productive, strategy-focused event in Philadelphia. The two-day gathering enabled participants to network, gain insights from industry experts, and collaborate on actionable strategies for 2025.
LMC Dealers took full advantage of the opportunity to network with peers, suppliers, and LMC staff, building valuable connections that will elevate their partnerships in the year ahead. Conversations with supplier partners provided dealers with timely market intelligence, while discussions with LMC’s team helped them understand emerging trends and the resources available to guide their business strategies in 2025. By sharing insights on product pricing, availability, and industry shifts, dealers gained a clearer view of the market landscape, equipping them to make informed purchasing decisions and optimize their operations for the coming year.
By facilitating contract negotiations, securing suppler commitments, and providing valuable market insights, LMC’s President and CEO, Paul Ryan shared these thoughts on the event: “The LMC Expo was an outstanding success. Our dealers and suppliers truly enjoyed some great networking along with support from our team to plan for 2025.”
The event opened with the LMC Component Alliance’s roundtable discussions, exploring industry priorities such as multifamily job utilization, futures, and plant automation.
A standout feature of the EXPO was the Supplier Forum, where leaders from LMC’s top suppliers delivered market updates and forecasts. The forum also included an in-depth session on Lumber Futures, examining unique purchasing strategies to maximize profit.
The Expo concluded with an Update Breakfast, led by LMC President Paul Ryan, and a keynote by Charles Marshall, who energized the audience with practical growth strategies for business and personal development.
“Attending the Expo helped us better understand market conditions, product pricing expectations, and availability,” said Stephen West, President of Zarsky Lumber in Corpus Christi, TX. “It strengthened our relationships with manufacturers, making it easier to streamline our decisions and focus on our business priorities throughout the year.”
