Henry, a Carlisle Company, has recently released a new product for residential construction that is reported to deliver energy efficiency and labor savings in one integrated solution. Blueskin VPTech combines a weather-resistive barrier (WRB), continuous insulation (CI), and seam sealing in a single, integrated panel, improving energy efficiency and reducing installation time and associated labor costs by up to 30%. Featuring a lightweight 4′ x 8′ integrated panel that combines Henry’s Blueskin VP100 self-sealing and drainable weather- resistive barrier, Type II R5 graphite polystyrene (GPS) continuous insulation, and patent pending vertical and horizontal seam-sealing overlays—each Blueskin VPTech panel fully seals against adjacent panels creating a uniform, continuous air barrier.
